Engineering Tip

Beginning with FactoryLink version 7.0, there is a new setting for the Group Hide Tag.  In the past, this tag was a simple digital tag where the tag=1 disabled alarm group processing, tag=0 enabled the group. 

The FL7 task now allows analog tags with value=2.  Setting the Group Hide Tag = 2 makes the group a true event alarm log.  The "alarms" are logged but are not processed for viewing or acknowledgement.  (no filtering required).
